Inside the Ethics Committee

Radio 4 has just launched a second series of 'Inside the Ethics Committee' which explores real medical cases with clinicians that sit on ethics committees. This week, they look at testing for the heriditary bowel cancer HPNCC. Testing for adult-onset diseases in fetuses is controversial, not least because the test poses a risk of miscarriage. Listeners can give their opinions on the issue on the website or by phoning in. The programme is on Wednesdays 24, 31 May & 7 June 2006 8.00-8.45pm and repeated Saturdays 27 May, 3 & 10 June 2006 10.15-11.00pm. Or you can listen again here.
